Ukraine claims strikes on Russian military plant, oil facility

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out strikes on a key military enterprise in Russia’s Kirov region and an oil facility located nearly 1,350 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

In a post on Telegram, Zelenskyy said the targeted military plant produces components for Russian aircraft and missile systems that are used in large-scale attacks against Ukrainian cities and communities.

He also said Ukrainian forces struck an oil facility located almost 1,350 kilometers from the border, but did not provide further details about its location or the extent of the damage.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is continuing operations against Russian logistics networks that supply the military with drone components, navigation equipment, and other materials.

The claims have not been independently verified, and Russian authorities had not immediately issued an official comment.
