Azerbaijani citizen killed in Russian drone attack near Kyiv

Azerbaijani citizen Abbas Abbasov, a native of Kurdamir district, was killed in a Russian drone attack on the Stolichny agricultural market near Kyiv, Ukraine, according to Report news agency.

Abbasov, born in 1978, was engaged in trade at the market.

Several other Azerbaijani citizens were also injured in the attack. Their identities are currently being established.

The attack targeted the area surrounding Kyiv amid Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine.
