Kuwait says drone attack hits northern border outposts

“This morning, two of Kuwait’s northern land border posts were targeted in a criminal act of aggression involving two explosive-laden drones guided by fibre-optic cables, originating from the Republic of Iraq, resulting in material damage but… no human casualties,” the military said in a statement on social media.

Kuwait has faced hundreds of drone and missile attacks launched from Iraq by Iranian-backed forces during the US-Israel war on Iran. The weapons have struck critical Kuwaiti infrastructure, including airports, energy facilities and the Ali Al Salem Air Base, which hosts US forces.
