Great Return: Azerbaijan continues relocating former IDPs to liberated territories

In line with President Ilham Aliyev’s directives, the latest phase of the Great Return has seen families successfully relocated to the Karkijahan settlement in the city of Khankendi, the Hadrut settlement in Khojavend district, as well as the villages of Shukurbayli in Jabrayil district, Boyuk Galadara in Shusha district, Ballija, Badara and Khanabad in Khojaly district, and Childiran, Vangli and Hasanriz in Aghdara district, according to AZERTAC.

As part of this phase, 8 families comprising 34 people were relocated to Karkijahan settlement, 4 families comprising 15 people to Hadrut settlement, 7 families comprising 28 people to Shukurbayli village, 3 families comprising 14 people to Boyuk Galadara village, 2 families comprising 7 people to Ballija village, 2 families comprising 5 people to Badara village, 2 families comprising 5 people to Khanabad village, 13 families comprising 53 people to Hasanriz village, 13 families comprising 53 people to Childiran village, and 4 families comprising 23 people to Vangli village.
