Gold and silver prices climb on global markets

Gold and silver prices increased on global markets.

On the COMEX commodity exchange in New York, the price of one troy ounce of gold rose by $2, reaching $5,011.5.

Silver prices also climbed, increasing by $0.24 to $77.84 per ounce.
