Bitcoin drops below $75,000 for first time since April 2025

The price of Bitcoin dropped below the $75,000 mark for the first time since April 7, 2025, according to trading data.

As of 3:30 a.m. GMT, Bitcoin was trading at $74,859.9, down 4.89%. Five minutes later, at 3:35 a.m. GMT, the cryptocurrency pared its losses slightly, rising to $74,865, representing a 4.88% decline.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin had recovered further and was trading at $75,908.
