Bayern Munich edge Elversberg 2-1 to remain unbeaten in Bundesliga

Bayern Munich survived a strong challenge from newly promoted Elversberg to secure a 2-1 away victory on Sunday in the third matchday of the Bundesliga season, according to Anadolu Agency.

Lennart Karl opened the scoring for Bayern in the first half before Maurice Krattenmacher equalized after the break with a spectacular long-range strike. However, Harry Kane scored the winning goal in the 72nd minute.

The goal was Kane’s first in the Bundesliga this season and his 99th for Bayern Munich in all competitions.

Bayern held on to claim all three points and move to seven points from their opening three Bundesliga matches, while Elversberg remained on six points after suffering their first defeat of the season.
