Azerbaijani female wrestler becomes three-time European champion

Azerbaijani female wrestler Ruzanna Mammadova won the gold medal at the U20 European Wrestling Championships in Skopje, North Macedonia, becoming the first Azerbaijani wrestler to claim three U20 European titles.

She secured the title with a 6-0 victory over Türkiye’s Özdenur Özmez in the women's 62 kg final.
