Azerbaijan promotes tourism potential in Indonesia

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) presented the country’s tourism potential at the Indonesia Travel Expo 2026 (ITE) in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Azerbaijan was introduced as an attractive travel destination in the Indonesian market during business meetings held within the exhibition, and participants were informed about new tourism products and services.

During the event, meetings were held to establish relations with local travel agencies, enhance cooperation, and explore new business opportunities.

The participation also served as a pivotal platform for promoting Azerbaijan as an “Umrah Plus” destination in the Indonesian market. In this context, the country’s rich Islamic heritage, historical mosques, culture, halal food offerings, natural beauty, and modern tourism infrastructure were highlighted.

The exhibition will run until April 9 in Surabaya.
