Two killed in Italy fireworks factory explosion

Two people are dead after a violent explosion at a fireworks factory in the town of Sant'Anatolia di Borgorose, in the central Italian province of Rieti, the fire brigade said on Wednesday, according to ANSA.

The firefighters found the bodies of two people, a woman and a young man, at the Pirotecnica Mattei plant in the town.

Three people, a father and his two children, died in another explosion regarding Pirotecnica Mattei in July 2023.
