Türkiye set to host UNESCO World Heritage Session in 2027

Türkiye will host the 49th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC) in 2027.

According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the decision was unanimously confirmed during the 48th session of the committee held in Busan, South Korea.

The upcoming session is scheduled to take place in Istanbul from June 27 through July 7, 2027.
