SOCAR, Wood Mackenzie explore broader energy cooperation

The meeting praised Azerbaijan’s steadily strengthening position as a reliable partner in global energy markets, according to SOCAR.

Rovshan Najaf briefed the Wood Mackenzie Chairman on SOCAR’s strategic objectives, the company’s transformation into an international energy company, its activities across various segments of the energy sector, and the projects it is implementing in Azerbaijan and abroad.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for further developing the successful cooperation between SOCAR and Wood Mackenzie. They also reviewed current trends in global energy markets and discussed opportunities for cooperation in oil and gas processing, renewable energy, decarbonization, the application of digitalization and analytical solutions in the energy sector, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
