QatarEnergy declares force majeure after halting LNG production

According to the statement, the declaration applies to buyers affected by the halt in LNG production.

“Further to the announcement by QatarEnergy to stop production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and associated products, QatarEnergy has declared Force Majeure to its affected buyers,” the company said.

QatarEnergy also emphasized that it values its relationships with stakeholders and will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.
