Precious metals dip: Gold and silver prices fall

Gold and silver prices declined on global markets.

On the COMEX in New York, gold fell by $133.40 per troy ounce, settling at $4,679.70. Meanwhile, silver dropped by $3.15, trading at $72.92 per ounce.
