Moody’s sees economic growth picking up in Azerbaijan

Moody’s estimates that Azerbaijan’s economy expanded by 1.5% in 2025. Looking ahead, the agency expects economic growth to ease to 2.5% in 2027, according to local media.

Based on these projections, Azerbaijan’s average annual GDP growth in 2026–2027 is estimated at 2.75%.

Meanwhile, data from the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan show that the country’s economy grew by 1.4% in 2025.
