Iran’s IRGC says three members killed in US missile attack

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps say three of its personnel were killed in a US missile attack, according to a statement carried by the semi-official Tasnim news agency.

The IRGC’s Zanjan province branch, Ansar al-Mahdi, identified the slain fighters as Mahmoud Mollajabari, Mohammadreza Cheraghi and Jamal Amiri. It said they died on July 30 while “defending Iran’s borders and people” in what it described as a “brutal attack by the criminal terrorist regime of the United States”.

The IRGC offered condolences to the supreme leader, the families of the deceased, and the Iranian public, while condemning the strike.
