Iranian drone attack hits fuel tanks at Kuwait airport

An Iranian drone attack struck fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport on early Wednesday, triggering a large fire but causing no casualties, according to Kuwait's state ⁠news agency KUNA.

Citing Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the news agency reported that the unmanned aerial vehicle targeted a fuel storage facility operated by the Kuwait Aviation Fueling Company, causing significant damage.

No deaths or injuries were reported while firefighting teams were deployed to the site.

The strike is the latest in a series of attacks on critical infrastructure in Kuwait amid escalating regional tensions.
