Iran's IRGC claims strikes on US bases in Jordan, Bahrain

US military bases in Jordan and Bahrain have come under attack by Iranian drones, according to a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), IRIB reported.

The IRGC said strikes on the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain targeted fuel tanks, warehouses, large equipment hangars, and troop accommodation facilities. The US Al-Azraq base in Jordan was also hit, with reported damage to the airfield, aircraft maintenance hangars, and housing facilities.

The IRGC warned: “Any step against Iran’s legitimate interests will deprive other regional states of security and economic advantages.”

The reported attacks came after recent US airstrikes on Iranian cities, including a missile strike near Ahvaz that killed four people and injured five others.
