Group of Chinese citizens evacuated from Iran via Azerbaijan

The evacuation of foreign citizens from Iran through Azerbaijan's "Astara" state border checkpoint is ongoing.

A group of Chinese citizens was evacuated through the checkpoint today and entered the territory of Azerbaijan.

Between 09:00 and 12:00 local time, a total of 12 individuals, including eight Chinese, one Canadian, and three Azerbaijani citizens, were evacuated from Iran.

The evacuation process was conducted following the completion of relevant document checks, registration, and other necessary procedures, with all essential measures taken at the border crossing to ensure a secure transition.
