Five more Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers to vie for European medals in Tirana

The Azerbaijani contingent will feature the following athletes: Nuraddin Novruzov (61kg), Turan Bayramov (74kg), Arsenii Dzhioev (86kg), Ali Tcokaev (92kg), and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125kg).

In addition to the new entries, attention remains on Azerbaijan’s finalists. Islam Bazarganov (57kg) is scheduled to face Russia’s Musa Mekhtikhanov in a high-stakes bout for the gold medal. Meanwhile, Jabrayil Hajiyev (79kg) will also be in action as he competes for a bronze medal finish.

The European Championships are reaching their peak, with the competition officially set to conclude on April 26.
