ECB hikes interest rates by 25 bps

The European Central Bank (ECB) decided on Thursday to raise all the three key interest rates by 25 basis points, according to Xinhua.

The deposit facility rate through which the ECB steers its monetary policy will be lifted to 2.25 percent and the rates on the main financing operations and marginal lending facility will stand at 2.4 percent and 2.65 percent respectively, the ECB said in a press release.
