Boat capsizes off Oman Coast, three French tourists killed

The vessel was carrying 25 French tourists when the incident occurred.

Rescue and ambulance teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) responded to the scene following an emergency call.

Two other passengers sustained minor injuries and received treatment on-site, the report said.

The cause of the accident remains unknown. The Royal Oman Police and maritime authorities have launched an investigation into the sinking. Efforts are currently underway to provide support to the survivors and the families of the victims, the report added.
