Azerbaijan to face Tajikistan in friendly match

The Azerbaijan national football team will play a friendly match against Tajikistan on Wednesday.

Aykhan Abbasov’s side will face the Tajik national team at the 8th Kilometer settlement stadium in Baku, with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m. local time (GMT+4).

The match will be officiated by FIFA referee Roman Jitar of Moldova.

The game will serve as Azerbaijan’s final friendly before three UEFA Nations League fixtures. The national team will travel to face Lithuania on September 27, host Liechtenstein in Baku on October 1, and welcome Lithuania on October 4.
