During the year, the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) main export pipeline carried 27.1792 million tons of oil. This volume accounted for 74.9 percent of the total crude oil transported through the country’s main pipelines.
The figure also reflects a 7.77 percent decline compared with the previous year.
Of the total volume shipped through the BTC pipeline, 84.8 percent, or approximately 23.056.9 million tons, consisted of oil produced in Azerbaijan. The remaining 15.2 percent, amounting to around 4.122.3 million tons, came from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
