Azerbaijan, Jordan sign visa-free travel and energy deals

Azerbaijan and Jordan have signed two key bilateral documents covering visa-free travel and cooperation in the energy sector.

The documents were signed by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al Safadi.

One of the agreements is the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the Mutual Abolition of Visa Requirements for Holders of Ordinary Passports."

The second document is the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Energy between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan," aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
