ANAMA employee injured landmine blast in Azerbaijan’s Khojaly

An employee of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) was injured in a landmine explosion on February 18 in the village of Mukhtar in Azerbaijan’s liberated Khojaly district.

According to ANAMA, Vasif Fuzuli oghlu Chobanov, born in 2000, was performing his official duties when he stepped on an anti-personnel mine.

The ANAMA employee suffered injuries to his left hand and face and was taken to the district central hospital.

His condition is stable and there is no threat to his life.
