Oil prices climb as Brent nears $84 a barrel

Oil prices moved higher in the latest trading session, with Brent crude and U.S. Light crude both posting gains.

On the London Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Brent crude rose by $1.24 to $83.73 per barrel.

Meanwhile, on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), U.S. Light crude increased by $0.96 to $78.25 per barrel.
