Israeli jets strike Abu al-Duhur airbase in Syria

Israeli aircraft carried out eight strikes on the runway of the Abu al-Duhur military airbase in the eastern part of Syria’s Idlib province.

According to the Syrian Al-Ikhbariya news agency and a military source, the strikes caused material damage to the airfield’s infrastructure.

No casualties have been reported.

Abu al-Duhur is an airfield belonging to the Syrian Arab Air Force, located east of the city of Abu al-Duhur in Idlib province. During the Syrian civil war, the airbase was under siege for three years.

Intense fighting took place between government forces and terrorist groups over control of the airbase.
