Great Return: Azerbaijan continues to resettle former IDPs in liberated areas

In line with President Ilham Aliyev’s directives, another phase of the Great Return has seen families relocated to Karkijahan settlement in the city of Khankendi; Badara, Khanyurdu, Khanabad, Ballija, and Tazabina villages in Khojaly district; and Kolatagh, Hasanriz, Ashaghi Oratagh, and Chapar villages in Aghdara district, AZERTAC reported.

As part of this phase, 8 families comprising 36 people were relocated to Karkijahan settlement; 5 families comprising 13 people to Badara village; 4 families comprising 10 people to Khanyurdu village; 8 families comprising 31 people to Khanabad village; 3 families comprising 8 people to Ballija village; 14 families comprising 71 people to Tazabina village; 12 families comprising 36 people to Kolatagh village; 6 families comprising 30 people to Hasanriz village; 12 families comprising 49 people to Ashagi Oratagh village; and 15 families comprising 51 people to Chapar village.
