Gold climbs above $4,320 as silver extends gains

The price of one troy ounce of gold increased by $16.50 to reach $4,321.70 on the COMEX (Commodity Exchange Inc.) in New York.

Silver prices also moved higher, with the price per ounce rising by $0.09 to $62.38.
