Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector drives GDP growth in eight months of 2026

Azerbaijan’s gross domestic product (GDP) reached 87 billion 709.5 million manats in January-August 2026, according to the State Statistical Committee.

The figure increased by 1.2 percent compared with the same period of 2025.

During the eight-month period, GDP generated in the oil and gas sector amounted to 26 billion 181.9 million manats, marking a 0.8 percent decline year-on-year.

Meanwhile, GDP in the non-oil and gas sector totaled 61 billion 527.6 million manats, increasing by 2.1 percent compared with the same period last year.
