Azerbaijani U20 wrestler crowned two-time world champion

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Aykhan Javadov has become a two-time world champion after winning gold at the U20 World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia.

He claimed the title in the men’s 60kg final by defeating Uzbekistan’s Dostonbek Oripov 4-1.

Another Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler, Elmin Aliyev, clinched a bronze medal in the 82kg weight category.
