Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers bag five medals in Bucharest

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers won five medals at the Ion Cornianu and Ladislau Simon tournament held in the Romanian capital city of Bucharest.

Farid Sadikhli, Farid Khalilov, Gurban Gurbanov and Mazaim Mardanov secured the gold in their respective weight categories, while Ilkin Gurbanov added bronze to the country’s tally.

Azerbaijan ranked 2nd in the team standings.
