Azerbaijani foreign minister hails Kyiv talks as 'productive'

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov praised Thursday's talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha in Kyiv as productive in terms of advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.

In a post on X, Bayramov said that the sides had held productive discussions on strengthening the Azerbaijan-Ukraine strategic partnership, with a particular focus on expanding cooperation in the political, economic, energy, transport, and humanitarian fields.

He also noted that the ministers had exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Bayramov added that Azerbaijan and Ukraine were linked by a strategic partnership based on the principles of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation.
