Azerbaijan tops Türkiye’s pipeline gas suppliers in June

Azerbaijan ranked first among the countries supplying natural gas to Türkiye via pipelines in June 2026, data compiled from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) showed, AZERTAC reported.

According to official data, Türkiye imported around 1.01 billion cubic meters (bcm) of pipeline gas from Azerbaijan in June.

Iran was the second-largest supplier, with 883 million cubic meters (mcm), while Russia ranked third with 882 mcm.

Overall, in the reporting month, pipeline deliveries for Türkiye accounted for about 2.78 bcm of total imports, while liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports stood at 282 mcm.
