Azerbaijan reaffirms support for peaceful settlement of conflict in Georgia

Baku on Saturday expressed Azerbaijan's full support for a peace solution to the ongoing conflict in Georgia.

In a post on X, Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said: "We reaffirm our full support for the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Georgia based on the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders."

The ministry also highlighted the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

"Azerbaijan highly values its strategic partnership and close neighborly relations with Georgia and remains committed to further strengthening the longstanding ties between our two countries," it added.
