Azerbaijan offers condolences over tragedy at Nepal-China border

Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has offered condolences over the loss of lives and extensive destruction caused by the devastating floods and landslides that struck the Nepal–China border region.

"We express deep sorrow over the devastating floods and landslides that struck the Nepal–China border region, causing loss of life and extensive destruction," the ministry wrote on X.

"We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this tragic disaster, and wish a swift recovery to those injured."

"We hope that the ongoing search and rescue efforts will lead to the safe recovery of those still missing," the ministry added.
