At least 6 killed in Ukrainian strikes on Russia's Belgorod

Six civilians were killed and four others injured in Ukrainian strikes on the village of Koloskovo in Russia’s Belgorod Region, acting regional Governor Alexander Shuvaev said.

According to Russian media reports, Shuvaev said one of those injured was a child. Two of the four injured people reportedly declined hospitalization, while the other two, including a 14-year-old teenager, were taken to hospital for treatment.

The strike also caused a structure to catch fire and damaged a passenger car, according to the governor.

The reported attack comes amid continued hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, as Russia’s border regions continue to regularly report strikes and drone attacks.
