At least 2 killed, 19 injured in Russian strikes on Ukraine's Kherson, Zaporizhzhia

Russian forces have shelled Ukraine’s Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, killing two people and injuring 19 others, according to Ukrainian media, citing the heads of the regional military administrations.

Kherson Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin said nine people were injured as a result of Russian attacks in the region.

Meanwhile, Russian forces carried out 1,019 strikes on 52 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over a 24-hour period.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said two people were killed and 10 others injured in the attacks.

He added that 1,019 strikes on settlements across the region were recorded during the day.
