AFFA president praises Sabah for reaching Champions League league phase

President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) Rovshan Najaf has congratulated Sabah FK on their 5–2 victory over Israel’s Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off, which secured the Azerbaijani club’s qualification for the league phase.

Najaf shared his congratulatory message on X, praising the team for the achievement.

"Congratulations to Sabah FC on securing a place in the UEFA Champions League league phase! I wish our team every success in the matches ahead," the AFFA president wrote.
