4.9-magnitude quake jolts Azerbaijan’s Guba district

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck Azerbaijan’s Guba district on Friday, the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences reported.

The quake, recorded at 20:56 local time, occurred at a depth of 13 kilometers.

The earthquake was felt at close to magnitude 5 around the epicenter.
